End of the Line
I can truly and honestly say that the people that I’ve been working with at Trends International are some of the most honorable and caring people that I’ve ever worked with. I’m sorry to see our partnership end, but it ended on good terms. Trends International is a Stationary and Poster company. They work with license holders and produce products for distribution and most of their artwork is pulled from the property’s style guide books. Their core business is manufacturing these products. So the idea of producing a Drawing Coin and book series is very much outside of their normal processes. In the end, they apologized to me saying that they recognized that my project was not given the attention that it deserved and that they did not want to stand in the way of my success. With that, they abandoned their pursuit of the Patent for the drawing coin and transferred all ownership to me so that I could complete the Patent application. I couldn’t have come this far without them.
